A few areas have reported light drizzle. Temperatures around the area at 8 PM, ranged from 31 degrees at Lacon and Bloomington, to 38 degrees at Lawrenceville and Mount Carmel. An unsettled weather pattern will remain across the region through the weekend, as a few weak weather disturbances move through the region. Light freezing drizzle is possible again overnight into Thursday morning across northern Missouri, then east into central portions of both Illinois and Indiana. Snow is also expected across the area, with snow totals of less than an inch, and ice accumulations from a glaze to a tenth of an inch. Locations near the Ohio River will see rain. Dry weather will return late Thursday, before another winter storm arrives Friday night, that will impact much of the Midwest through Saturday. Several inches of snow are expected, along with gusty winds, which could lead to road conditions to be less than favorable this weekend. Lows overnight, will range from the single digits above zero across northern Wisconsin, to the middle 40s across southern Missouri. Highs Thursday, will range from the mid 20s across northern Wisconsin, to the middle 50s across southeast Missouri and far western Kentucky. $$ EJL
