Accumulations should be light if any...with little to no impacts expected at this time. Expect mainly rainfall during the daytime hours Friday...but as colder air aloft moves over portions of northern Arkansas late Friday afternoon and primarily Friday night/Saturday morning...additional wintry weather will be possible. At this time...a lot of uncertainty remains on the exact precipitation type...temperatures and eventual accumulations. The best chances for seeing wintry weather Friday night into Saturday morning will be across the higher terrain of the Ozarks and across northern and northeast sections of the area. Rain may mix with sleet and or snow...with some light freezing rain also possible. The precipitation type may change back and forth throughout this time frame...keeping expected accumulations fairly low. Expect continued refinements in the exact location of wintry weather...accumulations and eventual impacts over the next day or so as the fine details become more clear with the latest data. There may be some light snow across northern sections of the area Saturday night into Sunday before the moisture exits the region. Otherwise...the threat for widespread hazardous weather looks to remain low beyond Sunday. .Spotter Information Statement...
