The National Weather Service in OXNARD has issued a

* Special Marine Warning for...
  East Santa Barbara Channel from Pt. Conception to Pt. Mugu CA
  including Santa Cruz Island...

* Until 500 PM PST.

* At 426 PM PST, National Weather Service Doppler Radar continued to 
  indicate a line of showers capable of producing gusty and erratic 
  winds to 34 mph and possible waterspouts. This line was about 8 nm 
  southwest of Goleta Point, or 20 nm northeast of Santa Rosa 
  Island, moving northeast between 15 and 20 knots.

  HAZARD...Waterspouts are possible with this line of storms. Wind 
           gusts in excess of 34 knots are likely along with small 
           hail.

  IMPACT...Waterspouts can create locally hazardous seas. Small 
           craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and 
           suddenly higher waves.

* Locations impacted include...
  Goleta Point.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Waterspouts can easily overturn boats and create locally hazardous
seas. Seek safe harbor immediately.
