The National Weather Service in Mobile has issued a * Flash Flood Watch for portions of southwest Alabama and southeast Mississippi, including the following areas, in southwest Alabama, Choctaw, Clarke, and Washington. In southeast Mississippi, Greene, Perry, and Wayne. * From Thursday afternoon through late Thursday night * Numerous to widespread rain showers and isolated thunderstorms are forecast to spread across the watch area Thursday afternoon into late Thursday night. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches, with localized totals around 4 inches will be possible. * Heavy rains will spread over locations that remain extremely saturated from heavy rainfall that occurred late last week. Minor to moderate river flooding also continues in the watch area, while some areas also continue to experience inundation. Additional heavy rainfall may result in flash flooding of roads, low lying areas, and areas with poor drainage. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
