184 FNUS55 KPUB 201049 FWFPUB Fire Weather Planning Forecast FOR S Cntrl and Sern Colorado National Weather Service Pueblo Co 349 AM MST Thu Dec 20 2018 ...A fire weather watch for gusty winds and low relative humidity has been issued for Friday morning through Friday afternoon from 11 am until 5 pm for fire weather zones 222, 227, 228, 229, and 230, which includes Fremont County and the southern I-25 Corridor, from Colorado Springs to the Raton Ridge... .Discussion... High pressure will lead to dry conditions for the region through Friday morning before influences of the next upper shortwave impact the area Friday afternoon. Gusty winds and low humidity values will lead to high fire danger Friday afternoon generally along the I-25 corridor. Outdoor burning should be postponed during this time. Another shortwave trough will move across the area on Saturday. As far a precipitation light snowfall will be possible with each disturbance over the Central Mountains. A more robust storm system may be possible by mid week but there is still high uncertainty due to timing and storm track at this time. Smoke dispersions will be fair to good for this afternoon with generally poor dispersions expected overnight. --- thunderstorms imply strong gusty and erratic winds --- COZ220-202330- Upper Arkansas River Valley Including Lake County and Chaffee County- 349 AM MST Thu Dec 20 2018 .TODAY...
