The National Weather Service in Binghamton has issued a * Flood Watch for portions of central New York and northeast Pennsylvania, including the following areas, in central New York, Broome, Chenango, Cortland, Delaware, Otsego, Sullivan, and Tioga. In northeast Pennsylvania, Bradford, Lackawanna, Luzerne, Northern Wayne, Pike, Southern Wayne, Susquehanna, and Wyoming. * From late Thursday night through late Friday night * A storm system will impact the region Thursday night through Friday night, resulting in a widespread rainfall of 1.5 to 2.0 inches with locally higher amounts possible in the Poconos and western Catskills. * The wet soil conditions and this amount of rainfall could result in minor flooding along the Susquehanna and Delaware River basins along with roadways and poor drainage areas.
