...WINTER WEATHER CONDITIONS OVER CENTRAL NEW MEXICO...

.A storm system moving east across the region late this afternoon
into Saturday morning will bring hazardous winter weather to the 
areas, mainly south of I-40. Light valley rain and mountain snow 
showers will impact central and western New Mexico through 
tonight. Snow levels will fall to valley floors tonight. Meanwhile,
a mixture of rain, a little sleet, snow and fog/freezing fog will
impact east central into southeast New Mexico this evening before
changing over to all snow overnight. Clearing skies and much 
colder temperatures Saturday night in the southeast may allow 
water to freeze on roads, producing slick travel before 
temperatures warm up on Sunday.
