...NWS DAMAGE SURVEY FOR 12/01/2018 REPUBLIC TORNADO EVENT...

A National Weather Service Damage Survey concluded that an EF1
tornado touched down 3 miles West of Republic and tracked 
northeast into the city limits of Republic. The path length was 
approximately 2.5 miles in length and up to 60 yards wide. Peak 
wind speed was estimated at 95 mph.
