Readings at 9 PM were in the upper 20s and lower 30s. Overnight, quiet weather will continue with morning lows in the lower to middle 20s. The weather begins to change late Saturday morning and afternoon when a mix of rain and snow spreads from south to north across central and northeast Wisconsin. The precipitation will create wet roads through the afternoon, then become more slippery into the evening and overnight. The highest snowfall amounts are forecast north and west of the Fox Valley, stretching from about Marshfield to Wausaukee, where 4 to 6 inches is possible. More rain is expected in east- central Wisconsin where snow totals will be two inches or less. Less snow is also expected in far north- central Wisconsin. This snow will accumulate slowly from Saturday into Sunday, but will still be enough to cause hazardous travel, especially on untreated roads. $$ KLB
