A significant upper level storm system will affect the region late Friday into early Saturday with the threat of severe weather increasing with the arrival of a cold front. The main severe weather threats will be in the afternoon and evening hours Friday, with the greatest risk across areas north of Interstate 20. Damaging winds, large hail, and possibly a few tornadoes will be possible.
