Visibilities may drop to 5 miles. This area moves out by 15Z, then dry conditions are anticipated before a much larger area of showers (possibly a thunderstorms across CHA) by late this evening through early Thursday morning. The rain will drop visibilities to 3-5 miles. Moistening of the boundary layer will also lower ceilings to MVFR conditions, possibly IFR. Winds will be gusty ate times due to tightening pressure gradients from Hurricane Michael and surface ridging into the Appalachians Today.
