.SHORT TERM...Tonight through Wednesday night...Dry and sunny
conditions under southwest flow aloft will give way to increasing
clouds late Tuesday. This is in advance of an upper trough which 
will cross the area on Wednesday. A slight chance of showers 
exists across the central Idaho mountains Wednesday afternoon, 
generally east of Yellowpine. Temperatures are near normal on 
Tuesday, cooling to several degrees below normal on Wednesday. 



.LONG TERM...Thursday through Monday...Models are showing a mild 
zonal then southwest flow ahead of an approaching trough next 
week. Temperatures are expected to be within a few degrees of 
normal through the period. Discrepancies exist between when the 
trough will move inland, but Monday into Tuesday looks most 
likely, so POPs during that time frame have increased a bit in the 
northern zones. Otherwise, no major impacts are expected at this 
time.
