Winds were mainly calm to light and variable and low temperatures were in the upper 70s to low 80s. In general, fair weather conditions will continue through the weekend, however quick passing showers will move at times mainly across the windward sections. Winds turn more east to northeast. The next tropical wave is forecast to reach the islands around Monday. Across the regional waters, seas are forecast at 5 feet or less and winds around 15 knots. A moderate risk of rip currents is expected to continue for some of the east facing beaches of Saint Croix.
