...A STRONG THUNDERSTORM WILL AFFECT NORTHWESTERN ONSLOW AND
SOUTHEASTERN DUPLIN COUNTIES...

At 225 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Cypress Creek,
or 11 miles southwest of Half Moon. The storm is nearly stationary.

Winds in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail are possible with this
storm.

Locations impacted include...
Jacksonville, Cypress Creek, Catherine Lake, Albert J Ellis Airport,
Richlands South, Lyman and Haws Run.

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with this storm.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
