...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 700 PM PDT FOR
NORTHWESTERN INYO COUNTY...

At 514 PM PDT, Doppler radar estimated one to one and a half inches 
of rainfall has fallen near Aspendell from thunderstorms producing 
heavy rainfall. Runoff near Highway 168 should flow towards Bishop 
and cause minor flooding in the advisory area.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Bishop, South Lake, Aspendell, Millpond Campground, Round Valley,
Mesa, North Lake Campground, Willow Campground, Creekside Rv Park,
Mountain Glen Campground, Wilkerson, Sabrina Campground, Forks
Campground, Browns Town Campground, Big Trees Campground, Intake
Campground, Pleasant Valley Campground, 4 Jeffrey, Dixon Lane-Meadow
Creek and West Bishop.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don't drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

Flooding is occurring or is imminent. It is important to know where
you are relative to streams, rivers, or creeks which can become
killers in heavy rains. Campers and hikers should avoid streams or
creeks.
