230 FNUS75 KREV 300226 FWSREV Spot Forecast for Lion...USFS National Weather Service Reno NV 726 PM PDT Fri Jun 29 2018 Forecast is based on forecast start time of 0600 PDT on June 30. If conditions become unrepresentative...contact the National Weather Service in Reno. .DISCUSSION... Drier air is expected to move into the wildfire area as modest north and northeast flow develops Friday night into Saturday morning. A slight chance of thunderstorms along with moister westerly afternoon flow returns to the wildfire area Sunday and Monday. As thunderstorms will be very isolated in coverage, confidence is only around 20% that a storm will affect the burn area on Sunday. On Monday, thunderstorms are more likely to shift off the crest into Mono County so chances are less than 10% for the wildfire area. Stronger westerly winds develop early next week as low pressure moves over the Pacific Northwest. Thunderstorms are not expected Tuesday through next week. .SATURDAY... Sky/Weather.........Sunny.
