CDT...

At 508 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along
a line extending from near La Grange to near Paris. Movement was
northeast at 15 mph.

Dime size hail and winds in excess of 30 mph will be possible with
these storms.

Locations impacted include...
Quincy, Hannibal, Palmyra, Monroe City, Canton, Santa Fe, Warren,
Mendon, La Grange, Perry, Center, Rensselaer, Maywood, Spaulding,
Philadelphia, Ursa, Loraine, Woodville, Taylor and Lima.

This includes Interstate 172 between exits 10 and 19.
 
This also includes  Wakonda State Park and Mark Twain Lake
Recreational Area.
 
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms.
Lightning can strike 10 miles away from a thunderstorm. Seek a safe
shelter inside a building or vehicle.
