Antecedent rainfall and very moist ground in the near-surface layer will limit any fire weather concerns today. A short period of dry weather returns later today into Wednesday. However, showers and a few thunderstorms, some with potentially heavy rainfall return to the region for Thursday into this coming Friday. Thus any drying of fine fuels through mid-week will limited to a short period. The only minor concern will be gusty south to southwest winds on Wednesday afternoon.
