.The Ohio River at Evansville has fallen below flood stage and is
forecast to continue falling. Therefore, the flood warning has 
been cancelled. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded 
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow 
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather 
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

* At  4:00 PM Thursday the stage was 41.9 feet. 
* Flood Stage is 42.0 feet. 
* Fell below flood stage at  2:22 PM Thursday.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to 40.3 feet by tomorrow
  morning.
* Impact...At 42.0 Feet...The river is 3300 feet wide.
