Wind chill values late this morning were reported in the 20s throughout the region. A weaker secondary low pressure system will continue shifting through the northeast U.S. today. Sunny skies will continue through the early afternoon, before more clouds return to the region late afternoon. This will also continue the chance for snow flurries later this afternoon and into the overnight. Although no significant snowfall is forecast, minor accumulations cannot be ruled out. Dry and cooler weather returns Thursday and will last through Friday, before a chance for precipitation returns Friday night to southern Illinois. High temperatures today, will range from the middle 20s in northern Iowa and across much of Wisconsin, to the middle 40s for southern Missouri and western Kentucky. Lows overnight will drop into the teens across eastern Iowa and southern Wisconsin, while bottoming out in the mid 20s along the Ohio River Valley. $$ Baker
