...A cold storm system will bring snow showers on Sunday through
early Monday morning...

.Snow levels will rapidly fall from 3000 feet early Sunday
morning to around 1000 ft early Monday morning. The greatest snow
impacts will be on highway passes with possible snow showers at
lower elevations.

...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 AM SUNDAY TO
4 AM PST MONDAY above 1,500 feet...

* WHAT...Snow expected. Plan on slippery road conditions. Total
  snow accumulations of 2 to 5 inches above 1,500 feet on highway
  passes and 6 to 10 inches above 4500 feet. 

* WHERE...Del Norte Interior, Interior Humboldt County, Trinity
  County. Highways impacted include Highway 199 near Collier
  Tunnel, Highway 299 at Berry Summit and Oregon Mountain Pass,
  and Highway 3 at Scott Mountain Pass. Lighter accumulations
  possible across passes on Highway 36 and local roads.

* WHEN...4 AM Sunday to 4 AM Monday.

  prepared for changing conditions. Check the latest forecasts 
  and call 1-800-427-7623 for current road conditions and chain 
  requirements before traveling. Be alert for rock slides in 
  mountainous terrain.
