Snow accumulations around one inch are possible through sunrise. Much higher accumulations will occur across northwest Kansas and Nebraska. A winter weather advisory has been issued for Lincoln, Russell, Barton, Ellsworth, and Saline counties. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Monday through Saturday Light snow will continue moving across portions of central and east central Kansas Monday morning. Additional snow accumulations of around one inch are possible generally along and north of I-70. Additionally, strong and gusty northwest winds will impact the entire area Monday, with gusts up to 45 mph likely, resulting in reduced visibilities in falling and blowing snow. A winter weather advisory has been issued for Lincoln, Russell, Barton, Ellsworth, and Saline counties. The strong northwest winds will support very high grassland fire danger in areas that do not receive snow. A very high grassland fire danger is also expected Thursday and Friday due to mild temperatures and strong south winds. Please avoid outdoor burning. At this time, snow accumulations and impacts appear to be minimal. .SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...
