Visibilities should generally remain greater than one mile. .DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Tuesday through Sunday Gusty south winds and mild temperatures will elevate the grassland fire danger into the very high category on Tuesday afternoon across parts of central Kansas and the Flint Hills. Very high grassland fire danger is possible again on Wednesday afternoon across south central and southeast Kansas. A storm system and strong cold front will impact the area Wednesday night and Thursday. There is a chance for a light accumulation of snow which could affect travel across central Kansas, especially along and north of I-70. Otherwise, strong north winds and much colder air will overspread the area on Thursday with a chance for light snow or flurries across much of the area.
