Skies were cloudy across the state with windy conditions in central and eastern portions. Gusts to 60 mph were reported in some areas, such as near Livingston. Temperatures at 10 am were mainly in the 40s, but only 29 at Cut Bank and 30s in the north-central areas. Low temperatures across the state were generally mild with readings in the 30s and 40s. The cool spot was at Butte Airport with a low of 20. Windy conditions will continue in the wake of the cold front east. Rain and mountain snow will increase over western and into south- central areas this afternoon. Highs will be in the 40s and 50s most places. Any rain is expected to change over to snow this evening in central and south-central areas. Accumulations up to an inch can be expected in lower elevations with several inches in higher elevations. $$ weather.gov/glasgow
