Showers are forecast to continue early this morning. Winds were from the east at 10 to 20 mph with higher gusts. Temperatures were in the upper 70s and low 80s across coastal areas. For this morning, shower activity is expected to continue through the early morning hours. Then, a patch of dry air is forecast to reach the islands by the afternoon into the evening hours limiting showers across the islands. A tropical wave is expected to move across the area by Saturday and Sunday. Across the regional waters...Small craft operators should exercise caution as winds will be up to 20 knots sustained with higher gusts near the showers and the seas will be up to 6 feet.
