Warning for a portion of the following creeks in central Indiana...

  Fall Creek...Wildcat Creek...

.Lowland flooding will develop along Fall and Wildcat Creeks in
central Indiana this Friday evening. Flooding may affect parks in
the Kokomo area.


Precautionary/Preparedness Actions...

Motorists should never drive into flood water. Turn around and go 
another way. Keep children away from flooded areas. Recreational and 
agricultural interests should remain alert to changing river 
conditions.

  the Fall Creek near Fortville.
* until Saturday morning.
* At 4:45 PM Friday the stage was 7.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 8.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by late this afternoon and 
  continue to rise to near 8.6 feet by tonight.  The river will fall 
  below flood stage by early tomorrow.
* At 9.0 feet...Fall Creek at the edge of SR 238 at gaging site near 
  Fortville.

* until Saturday morning.
* At 4:45 PM Friday the stage was 7.3 feet.
* Flood stage is 10.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...Rise above flood stage by this evening and continue to 
  rise to near 11.4 feet by tonight.  The river will fall below flood
  stage by after midnight tomorrow.
* At 12.0 feet...Wildcat Creek overflowing in parks in the Kokomo 
  area.  Flooding of agricultural land possible outside of Kokomo.
