...THE FLOOD ADVISORY REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 300 AM CDT FOR NORTHERN
LYNN AND SOUTHEASTERN LUBBOCK COUNTIES...

At 222 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to 
thunderstorms extending from west of Tahoka to Wilson. Rainfall 
rates had begun to decrease across southeastern Lubbock County. 
These strong thunderstorms will produce a quick 1 to 2 inches of 
rainfall that will result in minor flooding of area roadways. Light 
to moderate rainfall may persist through 4 AM which may cause any 
flooding to be slow to recede.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Lubbock, Slaton, Ransom Canyon, Wilson and New Home. 

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Be especially cautious at night when it is harder to recognize the
dangers of flooding.
