  Embarras River at Lawrenceville affecting Lawrence County

moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you encounter a flooded roadway, turn around and find an alternate
route. Turn around, don't drown.

  The Embarras River at Ste. Marie. 
* Until Wednesday morning.
* At 845 AM Tuesday the stage was 19.8 feet.
* Flood stage is 19.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  early tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet...County Highway 9 floods between Ste. Marie 
  and Willow Hill.

* Until Monday afternoon.
* At 845 AM Tuesday the stage was 40.1 feet.
* Flood stage is 30.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by 
  Monday morning.
* Impact...At 40.0 feet...10th Street and parts of 3rd Street in 
  Lawrenceville are inundated.
