Northwest flow will be in place aloft today into Wednesday allowing for slightly cooler conditions into Wednesday. However westerly to southwesterly flow will kick in to end the week as a large upper level ridge pattern builds into the central US. This will send temperatures soaring to well above average for this time of year. Near record highs will be possible Friday and again into Sunday and Monday as the upper level ridge pattern remains in place through early next week. Dry conditions are expected for all of this week into the weekend. $$ MJB
