Arctic air dominates the Northern Plains states.

For tonight many areas over the central and eastern parts of
the region will see the coldest temperatures of the season thus far,
with widespread lows in the 20s and 30s below zero. Over eastern
Montana and parts of far western South Dakota, lows will generally
be in the teens or single digits below zero.

Life threatening wind chills as low as 55 below zero can be
expected through the weekend. Check the latest forecast before
