This morning, light snow continues over parts of eastern South
Dakota and Minnesota. As surface high pressure slides into the
region, this snow will taper off and frigid temperatures will take
hold. High temperatures will range from the teens below zero over
the southern Canadian Prairies, to the single digits below zero
over southern South Dakota and Minnesota.

Life threatening wind chills as low as near 50 below zero can be
expected through the weekend. Check the latest forecast before
