Scattered showers and thunderstorms extended from Alberta and western Saskatchewan southward across central Montana. This area of convection was associated with low pressure over Alberta that extended south along the front range of the Rockies. The convection was moving eastward...and the Montana showers and thunderstorms are expected to lift northeastward into Canada during the overnight hours. Chances for showers and thunderstorms will persist in the forecast through the weekend, along with warm and humid conditions.
