Most of the rain was located south of a line from Kankakee to Beardstown. Rain total amounts were generally less than one tenth of an inch. Temperatures across the area at 9 p.m., ranged from 39 degrees at Bloomington, to 45 degrees at Robinson. Rain will linger from Missouri to central Indiana southward overnight, as a storm system passes through the region. Areas closer to the Great Lakes should largely be dry overnight. On Friday, clouds will be decreasing over much of the Midwest, and milder temperatures will spread back in. While the warmer conditions will linger near the Ohio Valley into Saturday, a cold front will drop southward through the Great Lakes, lowering temperatures once again. Overnight low temperatures, will mainly be in the 30s, with some 40 degree readings across the Ohio River Valley. High temperatures on Friday, will generally be in the 50s east of the Mississippi River, with readings in the 60s west of the Mississippi river. $$ JRP
