Winds started decreasing through the evening hours. Temperatures across the area at 9 p.m., ranged from 41 degrees at Bloomington to 51 degrees at Jacksonville. A cold front will swing through the region with a few showers overnight, with rainfall totals generally less than a tenth of an inch. A return to cool and dry weather will return on Wednesday. A brief warm-up will return on Thursday and Friday, with another chance for precipitation late on Friday. Low temperatures overnight, will range from the middle 30s across northern Wisconsin, to the middle 40 across Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, and southeast Missouri.
