A few sprinkles occurred along and southwest of a Decatur to Robinson line, however most locations remained dry. Due to the sunshine and a light southeasterly breeze, afternoon high temperatures climbed into the upper 70s and lower 80s. A weakening upper level disturbance will bring clouds and a few showers to Kentucky and the central and southern portions of Illinois and Indiana tonight into Wednesday. Once this system passes, very warm and dry weather will be on tap through the end of the week. The next significant chance for rain will hold off until late in the weekend, when a cold front approaches from the west. Overnight low temperatures, will range from the middle 40s across central Wisconsin, to the middle 60s in Kentucky. High temperatures on Wednesday, will mainly be in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees, except slightly cooler in the lower 70s across northern sections of Illinois and Indiana. $$ Barnes
