.SYNOPSIS...
The ridge of high pressure today will be replaced by a more
unsettled weather pattern for the work week. Several weather
systems will sweep across the Inland Northwest, bringing mountain
snows and valley snow or rain with each passage. A more potent
storm system mid week may bring lowering snow levels and better
chances for snowfall over many areas. A drying trend begins for
the weekend as the ridge builds back over the region.

.DISCUSSION...Per the latest HRR models and the most current 5Z
observation grid the earlier minor adjustment to minimum
temperature forecast for tonight remain unchanged as was its
bigger impact to adjust the slight chance mention of freezing
rain spreading it more west and south. /Pelatti

.AVIATION...
06z TAFS: Incoming warm front ahead of an occlusion wrapped up
into an offshore low spills warmer air and moisture over cooler
air at the surface and thus some mention of freezing rain occurs
primarily between now until the warm frontal feature exits to the
east and out of Idaho near 14Z Tuesday. Otherwise the lingering
cloud and visibility lowering brought about by either the clouds
associated with the precipitation or that currently remaining with
the low clouds and fog keeps some mention of IFR ceilings and
visibilities until improvement noted with the exit of the warm
fontal feature after 14Z Tuesday. Any ice accumulation is expected
to be extremely light as this system is very transient and not
