TEMPERATURES NORTH OF THE FRONT AT MID DAY RANGED FROM THE 50S IN WESTERN NEBRASKA...TO THE 60S IN EASTERN NEBRASKA AND MOST OF NORTHERN KANSAS. MEANWHILE...SOUTH OF THE COLD FRONT...SOUTHWESTERLY BREEZES PREVAILED ACROSS MUCH OF SOUTHERN AND EASTERN KANSAS...AND MID DAY TEMPERATURES WERE WELL INTO THE 70S. THIS AFTERNOON...THE FRONTAL BOUNDARY WILL START TO STALL OUT ALONG A LINE FROM WEST CENTRAL THROUGH NORTHEAST KANSAS...AND THE GUSTY NORTH WINDS ACROSS NEBRASKA AND NORTHERN KANSAS WILL BACK OFF SOMEWHAT. UNDER SUNNY TO PARTLY CLOUDY SKIES...HIGH TEMPERATURES THIS AFTERNOON WILL RANGE FROM THE 60S IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA...TO THE LOWER OR MIDDLE 80S ACROSS MOST OF SOUTHERN KANSAS.
