THE 7 AM LOW TEMPERATURES VARIED FROM 24 DEGREES AT GOODLAND TO 32 AT BOTH MEDICINE LODGE AND PRATT. AN UPPER LEVEL DISTURBANCE WILL MOVE EAST OF NEBRASKA TODAY AND HIGH PRESSURE ALOFT WILL FOLLOW ACROSS THE ROCKIES TONIGHT. AT THE SURFACE...A TROUGH OF LOW PRESSURE WILL FORM ACROSS EASTERN COLORADO THIS AFTERNOON. SNOW AND BLOWING SNOW ARE EXPECTED ACROSS NORTHEAST NEBRASKA THIS AFTERNOON. THERE ARE WINTER WEATHER WARNINGS AND ADVISORIES FOR THIS PART OF NEBRASKA THIS AFTERNOON. THE SNOW WILL MOVE EAST ACROSS IOWA BY THE EVENING HOURS. LIGHT SNOW IS EXPECTED TO PUSH EAST ACROSS THE NEBRASKA PANHANDLE STARTING THIS EVENING. IT WILL BE WINDY ACROSS MUCH OF KANSAS AND CENTRAL NEBRASKA TODAY AND THERE ARE WIND ADVISORIES FOR THESE AREAS INTO THE EVENING HOURS. AFTERNOON HIGH TEMPERATURES WILL RANGE FROM THE MID 40S IN NORTHWEST NEBRASKA TO NEAR 60 IN SOUTHEAST KANSAS AND THE MID 60S IN SOUTHERN OKLAHOMA.
