LORAIN...SANDUSKY...TRUMBULL...ERIE...SUMMIT...PORTAGE...HURON... MEDINA...SENECA...HANCOCK...MAHONING...ASHLAND...CRAWFORD... RICHLAND...WAYNE...WYANDOT...STARK...MORROW...MARION...HOLMES...AND KNOX. IN NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA ERIE AND CRAWFORD COUNTIES ARE UNDER THE FLOOD WATCH. THE WATCH IS IN EFFECT UNTIL 10 AM EDT SUNDAY. SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER WESTERN OHIO AND A GOOD PART OF INDIANA WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE TO THE NORTHEAST AND INTO THE WATCH AREA EARLY THIS SUNDAY MORNING. LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS ARE POSSIBLE WITH SOME OF THESE STORMS. FORTUNATELY THE STORMS ARE MOVING FAIRLY RAPIDLY AND WOULD NOT LIKELY CAUSE AS MUCH RAIN TO FALL IN ANY PARTICULAR AREA AS A SLOWER STORM MIGHT. THE SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL END FROM WEST TO EAST THIS MORNING WITH THE PASSAGE OF A COLD FRONT. DRIER AIR WILL FOLLOW THE FRONT INTO THE AREA SUNDAY AFTERNOON. MORE SHOWERS ARE LIKELY HOWEVER TONIGHT...BUT RAINFALL WITH THESE SHOWERS IS NOT LIKELY TO BE TOO HEAVY. A FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT FLOODING OF SMALL STREAMS...CREEKS AND OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS IS POSSIBLE WITHIN THE WATCH AREA. PEOPLE IN THE WATCH AREA SHOULD KEEP AN EYE ON THE WEATHER AND BE PREPARED FOR IMMEDIATE ACTION SHOULD HEAVY RAINS AND FLOODING OCCUR OR A FLASH FLOOD WARNING BE ISSUED. SOME OF THE LARGE RIVERS IN NORTHWEST AND NORTH CENTRAL OHIO ARE ALREADY IN FLOOD. ANY ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN COULD EXACERBATE THE FLOOD SITUATION ON THESE RIVERS. $$ VRCEK
