SYNOPTIC DISCUSSION...                       
A Pacific trough will remain over southern California until Tuesday, continuing
the cool and dry conditions over the region.  The trough will weaken and begin
to move east late on Tuesday as high pressure builds in from the west.  As the
trough moves over the area Wednesday and Thursday moisture will move in from
the south and produce a slight chance thunderstorms each afternoon.  Dry and
warmer conditions will prevail beginning Friday.

Note: All winds are 20-FOOT WINDS unless specified otherwise
       THUNDERSTORMS imply STRONG, GUSTY and ERRATIC winds.
