Low pressure over the Pacific Northwest will remain nearly stationary through Friday, but weaken as high pressure over northwest Mexico builds northward. This will allow the southwest flow to continue over the region with temperatures slowly climbing to near to a little above seasonal normals. The area will see southwest to west winds becoming gusty each afternoon. The southwest flow will continue over eastern California through the middle of next week.
