DISCUSSION: An upper level disturbance moved through the district last night and was over Northeast Oregon this morning. This little system produced some thunderstorm and shower activity near the Cascade Crest and on the east side last night. Another system was approaching Southwest Oregon this morning and will move inland during the day. Thus...there will be a continued threat of wet thunderstorms for zones 610 and 611. Southwest mid-level flow should keep any thunderstorms off the Crest. High pressure aloft will strengthen Monday and Tuesday resulting in a few degrees of warming. A weak frontal system is expected to reach the coast late Wednesday. At this time...this system looks like it will result in a marine surge. No precipitation is expected...except for coastal drizzle.
