SFC HIGH PRESSURE WAS RIDGED ACROSS SE WI INTO NORTH LOWER MI EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...WITH A WEAK SW WIND FLOW OVER GRB CWA. A LARGE AREA OF SC HAD DEVELOPED ACROSS NC/NE WI...WITH ONLY A FEW CU NOTED ACROSS THE SOUTHERN HALF OF THE FA. TEMPERATURES WERE GENERALLY IN THE UPPER 40S AND LOWER 50S. WV IMAGERY SHOWED TWO FAST MOVG S/W TROFS HEADED TOWARD WI. THE FIRST WAVE WAS MOVG THRU CNTRL ND AND WAS SPREADING MID/HIGH LEVEL CLOUDINESS INTO THE UPPER MIDWEST. THE SECOND S/W TROF WAS MOVG INTO NE MT. MODELS AGREE ON BRINGING SOME LIFT AND INCREASING MID-LEVEL MOISTURE ACROSS MAINLY NC/NE WI LT TONIGHT INTO TUES AM. GIVEN THE PRESENCE OF SOME FAIRLY STEEP MID-LEVEL LAPSE RATES...FEEL THAT THIS SYSTEM MAY BE ABLE TO WRING OUT SOME SCT MEASURABLE PRECIP...ESP NEAR THE WI/UPPER MI BORDER. HAVE ADDED A SMALL POP TO COVER. THIS SYSTEM WILL EXIT QUICKLY TUES MORNING...FOLLOWED BY PARTLY SUNNY SKIES. SOME CAA CU WILL DEVELOP IN THE WAKE OF THE SFC COLD FRONT...BUT SUBSIDENCE AND DRYING SHOULD OFFSET THIS TO SOME DEGREE. FWC MOS LOOKS PRETTY GOOD...BUT HAVE TRIMMED BACK MIN TEMPS TUESDAY NGT AS RIDGE BUILDS BACK INTO THE AREA. COORD WITH ARX. .GRB...NONE KIECKBUSCH WWW.CRH.NOAA.GOV/GRB
