Real-Time MM5 at Iowa State University

Introduction

Welcome to the Iowa State University real-time MM5 forecast page. We are currently running twice daily 48 hour intergrations using the parallel version of MM5 Version 3-6. The model is initialized with the NCEP GFS 00Z and 12Z data and integrated with nested domains approximately centered over central Iowa. The runs are processed on the ESSL Cluster at the Department of Agronomy's Earth Science Simulation Lab.
