...Snow to Continue Tonight...

.Snow will continue across much of central and northern Iowa
through the early morning hours. The heaviest snow is still
expected along the Highway 20 corridor, with another area of snow
to move through the Highway 30 and Interstate 80 corridors through
sunrise.

...WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CST FRIDAY...

* WHAT...Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 10 inches
  along the Highway 20 corridor and 1 to 5 inches along the
  Highway 30 corridor. 

* WHERE...Portions of Central Iowa mainly along the Highway 30 
  and Highway 20 corridors.

* WHEN...Until 9 AM CST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on difficult travel conditions. Be 
  prepared for significant reductions in visibility at times. 
  Areas of blowing snow are expected later tonight as north 
  winds increase.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Warning for snow means severe winter weather
conditions will make travel very hazardous or impossible. If you
must travel, keep an extra flashlight, food and water in your
vehicle in case of an emergency. The latest road conditions for

* WHAT...Snow tapering off overnight. Total snow accumulations of
  2 to 5 inches are expected. Lighter accumulations toward the
  Minnesota border, with heavier accumulations across the 
  southern portion of the advisory area.

* WHERE...Northern Central Iowa.

* WHEN...Until 6 AM CST Friday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Be 
  prepared for reduced visibilities at times and areas of 
  blowing snow as winds increase later tonight.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Plan on slippery road conditions, 
  including during the morning commute on Friday. Be prepared 
  for reduced visibilities at times.
