SURVEY_SUMMARY: THE TORNADO BEGAN IN RED RIVER PARISH JUST EAST OF
THE RED RIVER AND ABOUT A MILE SOUTH OF THE BOSSIER/RED RIVER
PARISH LINE ON HWY 515. THE DAMAGE PATH MAINLY CONSISTED OF BOTH
HARDWOOD AND SOFTWOOD TREES SNAPPED AND UPROOTED. A HOME SUSTAINED
SIGNIFICANT ROOF DAMAGE FROM FALLEN TREES ALONG HWY 71 ABOUT 1.5
MILES SOUTH OF THE BOSSIER/RED RIVER PARISH LINE. THE TORNADO
LIFTED NEAR HWY 788 AND ROBINSON RD AT THE SOUTHEAST EDGE OF THE
HALL SUMMIT CITY LIMITS. THE TORNADO WAS UP AND DOWN ALONG A 10
MILE PATH...AND WAS NEARLY A MILE WIDE AT ITS WIDEST POINT ALONG
SPRINGHILL CHURCH ROAD. MAX WIND SPEEDS OF 100 TO 110 MPH WERE
ESTIMATED ALONG THE PATH.

EF SCALE: THE ENHANCED FUJITA SCALE CLASSIFIES TORNADOES INTO THE
FOLLOWING CATEGORIES.

EF0...WEAK......65 TO 85 MPH
EF1...WEAK......86 TO 110 MPH
