TORNADO #1...OBION COUNTY TN INTO FULTON COUNTY KY

NUMEROUS WITNESSES SAW THE TORNADO. THE TORNADO DAMAGED 16 STRUCTURES
IN TN AND 2 MORE IN KY. THE TORNADO WAS MUCH STRONGER IN TN. MANY 
STRUCTURES IN TN HAD ROOFS REMOVED AND SEVERAL BARNS DESTROYED. MINOR 
INJURY WAS TO AN OCCUPANT OF ONE OF THE HOMES. WAS SENT TO HOSPITAL 
AND RELEASED. OTHER OCCUPANT OF THE HOUSE WAS IN GARAGE AND SAW TORNADO 
COMING. SUCTION WAS SO STRONG HE COULD NOT ENTER THE HOUSE UNTIL PART 
OF THE ROOF WAS BLOWN OFF. THERE WAS MAJOR DAMAGE TO LARGE MACHINE SHEDS/
BARN IN TN. TORNADO MOVED A 700 LB WEIGHT ABOUT 15 FT AND THREW A 40LB
JACK ABOUT 50 YARDS. A STEEL TRAILER WAS BENT. ONE OF THE BARNS WAS 
TOTALLY DESTROYED WHILE THE OTHER LOST MOST OF THE ROOF.

THE TORNADO ENTERED KENTUCKY AROUND 525 PM AND TRAVELED NORTHEAST. ONE
BARN WAS DESTROYED AND A CHURCH LOST PART OF THE ROOF WITH DEBRIS BLOWN 
INTO A FIELD. A NEARBY HOME HAD MINOR DAMAGE...BUT THERE WAS SIGNIFICANT
TREE DAMAGE.
