A TORNADO NEAR WENONA IN WASHINGTON COUNTY NORTH CAROLINA ON 03/21/12.

A VERY WEAK AND BRIEF TORNADO TOUCHED DOWN NEAR WENONA THIS
MORNING. THE TORNADO WAS SPOTTED IN AN OPEN FIELD AND DID NO
DAMAGE. THIS TORNADO WAS NOT ASSOCIATED WITH A
THUNDERSTORM...THESE TYPES OF TORNADOES ARE OFTEN REFERRED TO AS
DUST-TUBE TORNADOES OR LANDSPOUTS.
