Bulk Download Help
This bulk download tool provides the NWS text
in a raw form, hopefully directly usable by your processing system.
You can either provide a complete 6-character PIL/AFOS ID or provide
the 3-character base ID (e.g., AFD). The start and end
dates represent 00 UTC for those dates. The Zip format is useful as
the filenames will have the product timestamp, which is useful for
when the product format has ambiguous timestamps.

The National Weather Service office in Syracuse, IN will discontinue routine issuance of the Hazardous Weather Outlook (HWO) for our forecast area effective May 1st, 2026. This change is part of a broader effort to streamline communication and provide more timely, targeted, and actionable information to our partners and the public. Hazardous weather information will continue to be delivered through: - Forecasts and briefings at weather.gov/iwx. - Watches, Warnings, and Advisories. - Decision Support Services briefings for partners. - NOAA Weather Radio and trusted media sources. There is no reduction in service or situational awareness. In fact, this transition allows our office to focus on clearer, impact-based messaging tailored to specific threats, improving decision-making during hazardous weather events. If you have any questions or feedback please reach out to nws.northernindiana@noaa.gov, or our Warning Coordination Meteorologist, Dustin Norman, at dustin.norman@noaa.gov. $$
