FINALLY ENDED FOR THE NORTHERN ROCKIES AND NORTHERN
PLAINS.  HELENA MONTANA CHILLED OUT WITH NEARLY 6
CONSECUTIVE DAYS OF SUB-ZERO TEMPERATURES...WITH THE
COLDEST LOWS TUMBLING INTO THERMAL ABYSSES OF 29 BELOW
ZERO ON THE 15TH AND 25 BELOW ON THE 16TH.  ALSO ON THE
16TH...MISSOULA SHATTERED THEIR COLDEST TEMPERATURE EVER
RECORDED IN NOVEMBER BY 12 DEGREES WITH A LOW OF 23 BELOW
ZERO.  IN 1988...THUNDERSTORMS DEVELOPED ALONG A WARM
FRONT AND DRENCHED LITTLE ROCK ARKANSAS WITH 7.01 INCHES
OF RAIN...INUNDATING THE PREVIOUS RECORD FOR THE DATE OF
1.91 INCHES SET IN 1938.
